Admission Requirements for International MED Program Applicants
Since our program is online, we welcome potential students from all countries. If you are an international applicant, you should work closely with an admissions representative to ensure you meet the admissions requirements when you apply. To contact the admissions office, call 888-IWU-2DAY (888-483-2329) or email info@iwuonline.com.
If your first language is NOT English, the minimum TOEFL score is 550 (CBT=213 or Internet Score=79). There is no requirement for speaking English therefore you only need good English reading and writing skills.
You must also obtain and submit a "course by course" evaluation of your transcripts done by an organization such as Educational Credential Evaluators (ECE). You may learn more about ECE and what it does by visiting their website at http://www.ece.org. Transcript evaluations from organizations other than ECE are also acceptable, but please check with your admissions representative or the Student Services office before using such a service to be sure it will be accepted.
THIS EVALUATION IS REQUIRED FOR STUDENTS WHO HAVE OBTAINED ANY OF THEIR COLLEGE OR UNIVERSITY CREDIT DEGREES FROM INSTITUTIONS LOCATED IN COUNTRIES OTHER THAN THE UNITED STATES.
Graduates of Canadian universities and colleges accredited by the American Council on Education (ACE) are exempt from this non-U.S. transcript evaluation requirement. Your admissions representative can determine if your college or university is ACE accredited.
